"I thank all of you for the wonderful care, concern and love you give my mother"     What has been the most rewarding to our residents is their working together with the CannonWood staff in planning events that help the community or provide an opportunity to entertain their family members. They participate in decorating CannonWood for Christmas and Thanksgiving, plan birthday parties for other residents, invite war veterans to attend our flag raising in honor of our resident who was at D-Day and join in musical entertainment provided by local talent. They are especially proud of helping with  fund raisers for a new lighted cross on Blackrock Mountain; Silent auctions, festival of trees, bake sales and mailings have now raised $17,000 of the $21,000 needed for the cross....soon they will marvel at their efforts as the cross lights the way for over 30 miles!!
